NEISD TENNIS CENTER CLOSED JULY 1st TO 7TH

Mist stopped, courts drying faster than expected. 9am start still a go.

2024 UIL Region IV 4A & 6A Tennis Tournament begins May 8th at 8am at the NEISD Tennis Center (Blossom).

DAY 2 – Order of play (All semi final matches will go on at 8am , with the exception of 6A mixed doubles . 6A mixed will go on first two availble courts.

TICKETS
There is an entrance fee for all spectators. Tickets will have to be bought online. No cash at entrance.

Player and Coaches gate will open at 7am. 8am matches have priority to warm up on courts.
Spectator entrance will open at 7:30am
No pets will be allowed in the facility

Concessions will be on site. They will serving breakfast tacos in the morning

We offer morning and evening camps for ages 5 to 18 yrs old from June 3rd to August 1st.

MORNING CAMPS
Mon-Thurs., 8:30-11:30am, $175 per week

10 yr & Under Camp
This camp is tailored to children ages 5 – 10. The primary focus is to introduce the FUNdamentals of tennis along with athletic skills. Coaches will instruct basic stroke technique while incorporating hand-eye coordination and footwork drills. The class uses low compression balls, smaller courts and racquets. Kids pick up the game fast and have a blast. More fun and less frustration. Introduce your child to a lifelong sport!

11 yr & Up Camp
Players will be assigned to one of the following group according to their level:

BEGINNER: If you’ve never picked up a racquet or its been a long time, this class is perfect for you! This program will teach you the basic tennis skills quickly for the beginning or re-entry level player. This class highlight the primary tennis shots, scoring, singles and doubles play, positioning, and grips in a fun and friendly environment.

INTERMEDIATE: This program will introduce the FUNdamentals of tennis while focusing on the development of basic stroke techniques. Students will enjoy an engaging combination of court drills and supervised point play. Our goal is to prepare them to possibly join a middle or high school teams. Students are equally encouraged to join one of our Junior Team Tennis teams for play during the spring and fall seasons.

ADVANCED TRAINING CAMP TOURNAMENT: is geared toward junior players who are actively competing in tournaments. This class ensures a proper and technically sound foundation with special emphasis on strategy, tactics and patterns of play. Our coaches utilize innovative court drills, conditioning and supervised match play to develop player potential. EVENING CLINICS

11 yr & UP
Introduction to the Fundamentals of tennis while focusing on the development of basic stroke techniques. Student will enjoy an engaging combination of court drills and supervised point play. Beginner – Intermediate players.
Monday – Thursday: 6.00 PM to 7.30 PM Price $98 per week

10 yr & Under
